Parents: Francisco and Monica Leopardi.
Sibilings: Juno, (himself), Ethan, quads: Beatrix, Ivan, Madeline and Rodrigo.
College years: Went to college and majored in Drama.

After college Otani returned to Viramontes to start his new life. He also decided to rent an aparment. He didnt feel the need to buy a big house if it was only himself. Maybe one day he would own property but not for now.

Once he got settled in he called his family to make sure they knew his new phone number. He also managed to call his brother Ethan and see if he wanted to hang out later that night. His mother answered phone, " Otani? Hi, is this your new number?"

"Yes mom. Make sure to tell dad and anyone that needs to know it. Listen is Ethan home? I wanted to know if he wanted to head to the park for a while."

"Yes he's home but you know that you have other brothers and sisters that you should consider taking as well."

"I would mom but its getting a little late and I doubt you or dad would want me to have the quads out late at night."

"I really hate when you guys call them the quads. They do have their own identity you know."

Ethan met his brother Otani at the park. He noticed right away that Otani was falling for a little pug. "Hey there" said Otani, "what took you forever? I thought you were going to stand me up."

"No. I wanted to leave but then Rodrigo would let go of me and the 'quads' were a big mess. Mom was a little upset but I finally got out of there."

They proceeded to hang out and made up for lost time.

As promised Otani invited his parents out to lunch.
"Hey there. Otani your too skinny."
"Mom i'm not skinny. Where's dad?"
"Sorry honey but he
couldnt come. Its just going to be you and
me kiddo.""cool then lets go and grab a table and catch up to all the
news."

"Are you dating son?"

"no not yet. Im weighing my options. I have started to look at services online because I just dont have the time right now."

"No time? Remember you are the legacy heir and besides you do not need the internet to meet people. People are all over. You can meet some one at anytime and any place. "

"Just look at the girl over there. She looks nice and pretty why not go and talk to her."

"which one mom? The one in shorts? It looks like shes meeting someone."

"No silly the bartender. She seems really nice. Come on go over there and talk to her."

Otani knew his mom well. He knew that if he did not go over there and talk to the bartender he would not hear the end of it. This is why he choose to go over there and introduce himself.

Otani walked over to the bartender and came up with a strategy. He would just ask her name and well tell the truth.

"May I get you something to drink sir?"

"I know your going to think this is odd but my mother who is over there. Well she wants to make sure her son isnt looked over. I wold appreciate it if you would just fake giving me your number. At least that way you will make a lady happy."

"Wow all this for your mom huh? OK ill bite. I have always liked men that look out for the women in their lives. Im Amaya Cormier and heres my number. let me have yours and ill give you a call. deal?"

"Deal. Thanks a lot."

Otani walked back to the table and showed his proud mother the phone number and he was happy that he met Amaya.

Contrary to what his mother believed he did try to meet people online as well is on the streets. He didnt know how to approach women in public so he decided to do some chatting and maybe answer his million emails. He began to chat with Noelle Brown. they clicked but right away he feared that they would click online but not in person. He gave her his number and left it up to her if she wanted to follow up or not.

Otani was very suprised to hear a girl's voice that was not his sister Juno nor his mom.

"Hi, um Otani? Did I pronounce your name correctly? This is Noelle Brown...from online."

"Hi Noelle. How are you? Wow this is a pleasure to hear your voice. I actually didnt think that I would get a call from you. I mean we have been chatting online for several days."

"I know. Its just that I have been busy with the farm. Listen are you available to go out for a few drinks? Maybe we can see if we are as compatible in real life as the computer."

"I agree. Tell me the time and place."

They decided to meet at the local bar/karaoke bar. Otani really was not into karaoke but Noelle could not get enough. He was amazed that she was everything that she made herself out to be online. Otani had a wonderful time and at the end of the night they were both sad that it was over. They promised to meet again later that week if time permitted.

Otani had been placing a lot of hours at work since he was now a Magazine editor. The whole family was proud. He even met with his collegue to discuss how to revamp the magazine and get more readership. Scott was happy to come over and help. He too was eager to get his career on the fast track. Their work was interrupted by Juno coming over with food for him. She felt bad that she had not seen her little brother in a while.

"I come bearing gifts! Oh hello there."

"Hi, Im Scott. I work with your brother."

"Hello Scott. How is my baby brother doing in his job?"

Otani interrupted, "Hey Scott this is my big sis Juno. Wow this is awesome we are starving. This magazine layout is not as easy as it sounds."

They all sat around the table and discussed several things. Otani mentioned his date with Noelle while Scott mentioned his life plans. It was getting late and Otani started cleaning up the dining room table.

Scott managed to corner Otani in the kitchen to get some things cleared up.

"How come you did not tell me your sister is so hot? I mean come on. Do you mind if I ask her out? Its so hard to get a woman that knows whats she wants and what she is doing. Well dont just stand there and tell me."

"Look trust me. You are not the type that my sister is looking for."

"Wow I really didnt think that it was like that. I thought that we were getting along well."

"Scott my sister is gay. Meaning she only likes women. therefore you wont have a chance. Maybe as a friend but nothing else."

"Go figure. Hmm. Alright well too bad for me."

Otani sat back in bed and looked at the little fellow he bought when he went to the park with Ethan.

Otani was surprised to see the big bouquet of flowers that were left in front of his door. It did seem that Noelle had a great time. The problem was that sure Otani had a great time but was it or is it enough for him to pursue it? Either way it was nice having a pic.
