Madeline and Aiden had been dating for a while now. Her parents didnt really agree but what could they do? No matter what they tried madeline always managed to get out to see him. Therefore Francisco and Monica decided to let them openly date. This day Madeline invited Aiden Ryce over to tell him the news. As an couple would they took their relationship to the next level. Madeline was deeply in love with Aiden. It was this love that nutured the life that was now growing inside of Madeline. To Madeline's fear she found herself pregnant and about to be a teenage mother. She told Aiden and he was nervous but excited to be a father. He himself was in college and was sure that he could enter the advanced degree program. They now just needed to brace themselves to tell her parents.
Once Aiden took charge and told her parents their first response was shock. Francisco could not believe what he was hearing. He could not believe that his little girl was pregnant. He looked at Monica with the "I told you so" look. Monica tried to break the tension and asked them what the plan was. Aiden proceeded to tell his plan of having Monica stay there while he finished his degree. Francisco was upset and answered, " Well what about my daughter's schooling? I never have heard you mention anything of her schooling only yours."
Monica replied, "Now that your pregnant you will have to get a GED because the school will not allow you on campus while your pregnant."
"I have thought about Maddy's education. She can go once I get us on our feet. I want to be with her. I want us to be together while we raise our child." said Aiden.
Francisco had had enough. "You know what Aiden. I think its best that you leave. You have done much damage and I want to think about this with my family and figure out a solution."
"Daddy..he cant just leave like that. Were having a baby." said Madeline.
Monica, "Madeline.. let Aiden Leave for now. After your father has calmed down then he can come over and we can discuss things in a more calmly manner."
"Its OK Madeline. I will call you later OK." Aiden bid his farewell and Francisco was left to stare at his pregnant teenage daughter.
Monica could still not believe that her daughter was pregnant. Even though they had a maid she took to cleaning every nook and cranny. All the kids were upset when they came home from school to find bags labeled garbage in their rooms. They knew something was going on and Monica felt they should break the news at dinner.
Francisco proceeded to tell them that Madeline was pregnant. Everyone let out a gasp and Beatrix just stared at her quad sister. They were the babies of the family and she couldnt believe that Madeline never told her anything. Madeline just stared at her brothers and sisters and didnt say anything. For some odd reason she felt both ashamed and not.
the months passed by and Madeline's belly grew. If anyone tried to avoid the subject now more than ever it was impossible. Madeline did have to drop out of school and would return only to get her GED after she gave birth.
Soon Madeline was yelling for her mother to get her to the hospital. Madeline could not believe the amount of pain she was experiencing.

In the end it was all worth it. Here is her baby. She had a girl and named her Kayla Ryce. She had Madeline's blue eyes (which are francisco's) and red hair like her mother and boyfriend.

While all this was going on in the Leopardi household, Francisco had his hands full with keeping the peace between Ivan and Beatrix. Beatrix and Ivan could not stand each other. Francisco had enough of the physical fights in his family. He reminded Ivan that he was a man and was not to touch any female regardless of what transpired. Ivan told his dad that it was Beatrix that seeked him out. Francisco didnt want to hear it and told him that he would also speak to Beatrix. * * * * * *
Aiden came to see his daughter and managed to speak to Monica.
"I know things are not going the way you would have liked them. Trust me this is a curve ball for me too. I love Madeline and I want her to marry me so that we can raise our daughter together. I want to talk to Mr. Leopardi but he seems so angry still."
"I hear you. Look were just in shock. Its our daughter. I am just happy that you are willing to see how to work it out."
"I am going to propose and if she says yes then I want to move her and the baby to my apartment."
"I agree Aiden. You should have them close by. They are your family as well as mine."
"Im glad you understand me Mrs. Leopardi"
Aiden kneeled down in front of a surprised Madeline and proposed. Madeline was so ecstatic she couldnt believe it. She of course agreed to marry him. He then told her that she would move in with him and they would raise Kayla together. Madeline agreed she had missed not having Aiden next to her every night.
In the days that followed Madeline got her things prepped to leave. Francisco managed to have a talk with his daughter. He told her that he was proud of her and he loved her. He just wanted her to be happy. If moving out to be with Aiden gave her happiness then he would bless them both. Madeline was happy to finally see that her father was on her side again. She loved both her parents and would miss them dearly when she lived with Aiden.

it was a good thing that Francisco mended his relationship with Madeline. Soon it was time for him to pass on to another life. Francisco himself was in denial. He didnt want to leave yet. He felt that he had so much to do still. he still left his boys that needed his guidance. But he couldnt argue with the reaper. It was his gime to go and he was 76 years old.
When Otani heard the news he rushed over to be by his mom's side. He couldnt believe that his father was no longer with them.
Juno also rushed over and hugged her mom. Jade was still working and would stop by later. Juno could not believe that her daddy was gone.
